What are research peptides?

Research peptides are short chains of amino acids synthesised for laboratory in-vitro investigation. They allow researchers to study cellular signalling, receptor binding, and biochemical pathways. Our peptides are not pharmaceutical products and are not approved for human or animal use.

What purity grade are your peptides?

All Performance Peptides products are ≥99% pure by HPLC. Each batch is third-party verified, and a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is available on request — email lab@performancepeptidesuk.com with your order number.

Where are your peptides synthesised?

Synthesis is carried out in a USA-based laboratory under GMP-equivalent processes. Final QC and dispatch are handled from our UK facility.

What is bacteriostatic water and do I need it?

Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol that prevents microbial growth — used to reconstitute lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptides into a liquid form for laboratory use. If you don't already have it in your lab, add a vial at checkout; you'll see a reminder if you've added a peptide without it.

Orders & Shipping

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before 15:00 GMT, Monday–Friday are dispatched the same working day. Orders placed later, on weekends, or on UK bank holidays go out on the next working day.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship to most of Europe, North America, Australia, and parts of Asia. Customs clearance and import duties are your responsibility. See our Shipping Policy for a full carrier and region list.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. All orders ship in unbranded outer packaging with a generic return address. Inner packaging is temperature-stable and tamper-evident.

How do I track my order?

You'll receive a dispatch email with a tracking number as soon as the courier collects your parcel. UK orders typically arrive in 1–2 working days; international orders in 5–10.

Research Use

Can I use these for personal use?

No. Performance Peptides products are sold strictly for laboratory research. They are not pharmaceutical products and must never be administered to humans or animals. By ordering, you acknowledge our Research Use Only Disclaimer.

How should peptides be stored?

Lyophilised peptides: store at –20 °C in a sealed container, away from light and moisture. Once reconstituted, store at 2–8 °C and use within 30 days. Full handling guidance is included with every order.

Do you provide Certificates of Analysis?

Yes — request a CoA for your batch by emailing lab@performancepeptidesuk.com with the order number and SKU. We respond within one working day.

Account & Payment

Do I need an account to order?

No — checkout is available as a guest. However, registered customers get faster repeat ordering, full order history, and access to restock alerts.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfer for institutional orders. We do not store full card details.

Can I get an invoice for my institution?

Yes. Email orders@performancepeptidesuk.com with your VAT/EIN number and we'll issue a formal invoice. Bulk and institutional pricing available on request.
